Expedition Overview Expeditions are the principal way to earn money, collect items, increase fame, and raise your team's rank. New locations will be unlocked as you rank up.
On the expedition screen, you use cards to move across squares. These squares may have bosses, villages, chests, monsters, and clouds. Squares that are hidden by clouds will be revealed when you stop on them.
Events occur depending on the color of the square you stop on:
White: Nothing happens.
Red: Damage.
Blue: Recover Fuel.
Yellow: Strengthen/weaken. When you move or use a skill, your turn will advance. when this happens, you may be attacked by enemies. Also, if you exceed the time limit for the map or lose all your planes, you will be forced to retreat.
When you come into contact with the boss on the other side of the map, a battle will start. Defeat the boss to clear the map and earn XP, money, and items.
In some expedition maps, a village can be found. This village will sell many things. A village will start at 0% development rating and will increase every time an expedition is successful. However, only expeditions that are completed in the same area (not map) of the village will contribute to the village development. A village must be visited at least once before it can start developing. Items listed in the tables are of a village at 100% development rating. Items that are unlimited in stock are not actually unlimited, however, they will restock over time allowing players to buy them again.
