Players are an essential part of your team. They should be receiving lots of training to bring out their full potential to become extraordinary. Even relatively low-potential players can attain relatively high stats of 300, and your starting team - when adequately trained - can easily pull you through to the Amateur rank.
Players can be put in various positions (which have a specific S-F ranking). Individual players may have unique talents, which affect which stats raise the highest; for example, the Bodybuilder type has a high Body stat, while the Speedster has a high Speed stat. The max level of a player is 30.
Players' salaries raise with their levels. However, the salary is paid per game played. Therefore, you can have an expensive player on your team and never pay them so long as you never use them in a game. This strategy allows you to hire a strong player and keep them for important matches.

Type Definition[]

Average | This is an average player. All of their stats can be raised to a fair level. |

Showboat | This player is a showboat. While they are not as strong physically, they do make the team a bit more popular. |

Exceptional | This is an exceptional player. All of their stats can be raised to very high levels. |

World Class | Whoa! This is a world-class player! All of their stats can be raised to world-class levels. |
|
Superstar | Wow! A superstar player! The sky's the limit when it comes to improving their stats! We have to get this one! |
|
Striker | This player is best suited to be a striker. They have excellent ball-keeping ability, and can kick as well. We should use them as a forward. |
|
Bodybuilder | This player has muscles like a bodybuilder. Their strength makes it easy for them to steal the ball. But they do seem a bit slow. |
|
Kid | This is a seldom-seen child player. While their stats are low, they are often quite popular. |
|
Technician | A technician has great confidence in their technique, making them good for a midfielder. |
|
Fantasista | A skilled playmaker. This kind of player is perfect for a midfielder. We definitely need to try to get him! |
|
Free | This player has a free personality. We don't know what their stats are like... |
|
Speedster | A speedster is the fastest kind of player. They can be midfielders or forwards. |
|
Defender | As you might expect, they're very good at defense. |
|
Avg GK | This is an average player. Their GK stats can be raised to a fair level. |
|
Excp GK | This is an exceptional player. Their GK stats can be raised to a very high level. |
|
Spider | You'd think this player had eight arms, they're so good at goal-keeping. Their GK stat can be raised very high. |
|
WC GK | Whoa! This is a world-class player! Their GK stats can be raised to world-class levels. We definitely need to try to get him! |

Super GK | Whoa! A super GK! The sky's the limit when it comes to improving their stats! We have to get this one! |
